As a guest, who traveled 40 miles for this jam, I have observed that jam management is extremely partial on who they want to have on stage. The musicians themselves get to decide who they want to play with and if you are a member of the CFMA you get preference. The mixer for the musicians has a very limited amount of ports which is occupied by several band members who remain on stage for the whole event. Anyone else is forced to bring their own equipment and amps. There are no fiddle players.
