So let me first begin with my mom found this place. My husband and I moved our wedding date up by an entire year so my dream of a big fancy plantation wedding went out the window since we refused to have our parents pay for everything. This place is a rare gem! It has all the features of the Louisiana plantations but with a little more cozy charm. The barn and little stream that flows through the property really are an added bonus. Our wedding reception was at night and looked so awesome with the way they have the grounds lit and the outdoor dance floor. They helped us out so much but on a more personal note- During the wedding planning my father became ill and tragically died from cancer we did not even know he had. This happened in September and we were planning on a November wedding. They are such good hearted people they actually called and checked on us while we were in the hospital and prayed over my father on speaker phone. They extended every courtesy they could to us and really helped us pull it all together last minute after a month of bouncing back and forth with the idea of having a reception to still celebrate our marriage. With my dad passing we were back and forth on whether or not to follow through with the reception but we decided to rejoice in the good and be grateful for time with family. I recommend this place for any occasion. I cannot wait to post all the pictures from that wonderful night.
