The star is for the three young girls who witnessed me get thrown out of her office. I am shocked at these reviews. I must have rubbed her the wrong way because I felt the very opposite of these women. She came in the room first off and announced that some call her pesimistic because she doesn't like being a mother to her particular son. She made fun of my "being perimenopausal" with her staff and to me and acted like there is no such thing. She told me there were no test to confirm menopause and she would like to see what test my doctor performed to confirm the beginning of menopause. I felt like a complete moron sitting naked under a very cute cover up I must say as she questioned why was I there instead of a psychiatrist. She even offered to get me in to see one she knew. Very emotional and crying I asked her if blood test and hormone level test wouldn't help to see where I was in menopause and help with hormone treatment, and she frankly told me no. She even said the "f"-ing word describing how some women react to menopause. Finally she told me women just go on hormones that there isn't a way to test or prove where you are with menopause. I felt like she had no care to help me nor believed that I was up and down with emotions and moods because of perimenopause. Total shock and definitely angry with her again telling me she wished her son wasn't her son and didn't belong to her! Truly that was none of my business and had nothing to do with my appointment. Weird weird weird experience. As I paid my copay at the desk in tears I told her staff what went on in the exam room and she dr gentile told me "lady" you need to leave or get out and she would walk me to the door. Thank God I'm not suicidal. The way she treated me and my perimenopause could have caused a woman to jump from a bridge. Loud mouth, non caring, non professional, and unexperienced with crazy menopausal women. Even if she was correct about everything she surely has no skills as a caring doctor!!
