met the owner in an establishment, and decided to take the walking tour. the group met just outside of the office, with an address on Pirates Alley, alongside the St Louis Cathedral, which got the tour off on the right foot. it was a chilly night, which just added to the atmosphere. we walked and stopped at several locations, and were entertained by our guide ( I forgot his name, but he was dressed like a pirate) with fantastic stories regarding the history of the area, and also the haunted spots in the area. the tour was supposed to last 1 1/2 hours, but went longer than 2 hours, which could have went longer as far as I'm concerned. i would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that asked, and it was definitely worth the money.
