Go elsewhere if you can make it! My husband was having chest and left arm pain, so I took him to the closest ER. At first they were very efficient. Took him to room immediately and began checking his vitals. His BP was through the roof, and heart rate low. They gave him nitroglycerin and it worked like a charm! His pain went from a 9 down to a 3. After that they barely checked on him. I asked if he could eat. Nurse Allison said she would check. Never came back to let us know, so I went and got him some crackers. Buzzed nurses station as my husband needed to go to restroom. Said she'd let our nurse know. 30 min later, my husband is disconnecting himself. Alarm sounded for 20 min or more. They never came in to see why. We never saw Dr in 5.5 hours we were there and they didn't inform us of what was going on. So we left AMA and went to OLOL in Baton Rouge. Had to start all over again to get stress test.
