Taco Bueno

My husband and I tried two different items. I got a taco combo, and yes, the taco meat is quite salty. You can tell it's real ground beef, but it's salty beef. My husband's TexMex bowl was apparently better. The guacamole was good, the meat and rice were flavorful and the salsa actually has some heat. (I tried some and decided it was more heat than I cared to have.) If you're sick of the Bell, go ahead and give Taco Bueno a try; but go for a bowl or a platter. Their title entree may or may not be your thing.

Been a "Bueno head" for a while...been to THIS location several times and never written a bad review...EVEN while they try to find the right amount of salt for their food. Showed them a coupon FROM TACO BUENO...was curtly and smugly informed that they are a franchise and only honor birthday coupons. The foods good, bit I can get THAT kind of attitude anywhere in this town. I'll b calling corporate Monday.
