Yellow Bowl Restaurant

OK, really would like to have given a 5 star, but I think my visit is stretching a 4 that I gave. I will be back and hope I can rectify my rating to a 5. Been wanting to stop here forever and finally did. My job takes me all over Acadiana and beyond so I do travel this road quite often. The waitress was vey polite and great service. The atmosphere was great though I was a little cold in area I was seated. So why not a 5 star? I asked the waitress about oysters if they were large and plump. She responded that they were medium size. So I gave them a go. Just ate some this week way up North in Marksville that were the best, large, plump and juicy. So here should be better, right? Not so. They were small, dry and chewy. Way down here in South should be better seafood, but did not seem that fresh. So that is the cause of my unsatisfied 4 star rating. I should have gone with the Buffet which was tiny but looked delicious. I will be back to see if they can redeem themselves of this.
